Mas Errázuriz was founded in June 1980 with a strong focus on civil works and building projects.

Soon in 1982, It began to dabble in mining construction at El Indio works, wher it executed projects for 16 years.

The growing trend of outsourcing by large mining companies allows Mas Errázuriz to expand its services and create expertise in the local industry.

Horizontal and vertical excavations, construction of ramps, tunnels, caverns, shafts, chimneys, industrial plants, industrial assemblies, and mineral extraction tasks are the main tasks that have been developed for the main mining conglomerates in the country, such as the different divisions from Codelco, Anglo American, Yamana Gold, and Collahuasi among others.

• Our internationalization starts at the beginning of the nineties. First Brazil, then Perú and Argentina.

In the 2000s, it went into the energy sector, winning important hydroelectric projects like Laja in Chile and El Platanal in Perú.

In each of the projects, there have been construction of tunnels to conduct water for the hydroelectric plants, caverns of different lengths, and all kinds of civil works. Besides, it has high standards of associated technology, such as low profile teams specialized in drilling, blasting, loading, transport, excavation, concrete projection and reinforcement.

In 2001 we dabbled in the area of energy. We developed caverns and tunnels for hydroelectric projects such as “Ralco”, for Endesa Chile.

• In 2005 we started to enter the energy sector when we were chosen to develop “El Platanal” hydroelectric power station in Perú. We were in charge of the construction of a 16 kilometer long tunnel.

In 2010 we committed ourselves as a company to implement a “Zero accident” policy, designed to improve our workers’ safety and integrity.

• Mas Errázuriz civil works and assembly was established in 2012 as a business unit. Operations in Colombia also started that year.
