The distinction is part of the review, initiated by MEL, of the critical activities of the programs of all the collaborating companies of the Head Of Projects (HOP), management that awarded and supervises the aforementioned project.
Mas Errázuriz (ME) received an important recognition from Minera Escondida (MEL), after the team that executes the project “South mine pit bottom water pumping system” achieved improvements in productivity.
“We evaluate what each company can do to add more productive hours to their daily lives. Last February, we increased them by approximately 30 minutes a day,” highlights Jhonathan Mella, Project Manager of Mas Errázuriz.
This was achieved, he explains, “thanks to the definition of the necessary departure time from the camp, the completion of daily POD (Product-oriented Delivery) to schedule tasks, and the timely delivery of the necessary documents for the entire shift. ”.
The award was presented by Felipe Kilian, Head of Projects of the HOP, to Roberto Lara, Manager of Occupational Safety and Health, and Environment (SSOMA) of Mas Errázuriz, at the monthly safety meeting.
Along with thanking the recognition, Mella urges to consider it as “a boost to the entire organization to continue raising standards, and continue working collaboratively.”
